The Dealer Development, Parts & Service group within American Honda Motor Company has made massive changes to their training workshops. The first workshop to get the re-do was an interpersonal skills class. Formerly a three-day training class that featured a paper DiSC assessment and traditional workbooks, the new version unfolds as four, one-day workshops that leverage Apple iPads.
The first of the re-born classes swapped out the paper DiSC profile for the electronic Everything DiSC Workplace® behavioral assessment. The survey is completed in class, on the iPad. Throughout the training day, participants work with the full-color profile in PDF form.
10/10ths was instrumental in Honda's adoption of this cutting-edge instrument and worked with their curriculum developers to integrate the DiSC theory and materials into the class. We also developed the back-end process to enable Honda's single workshop coordinator to provide and track assessments to hundreds of participants every quarter.
